First Zipp Kits build for me, and it was a great experience. My 8 & 10 year old kids loved working with me on it and were thrilled with the results. And now, I have already ordered another boat and expect to order more. My first setup was a 90A SeaKing ESC, Leopard 3674 2200kv with 4-6S attempts. Overheating the ESC was a quick issue so we upgraded to a 160Amp Pro ESC and got speeds over 100mph and the boat handles the speed beautifully! Still having heating issues with motor, esc and battery set-up so switched to a 4082 1600kv motor. Which fits very well even with a 68mm cooling jacket. If you want a electric, fun, fast, and customize-able boat look no further!! This will keep you busy modifying until you get just what you want! And Zipp Kits customer support is second to none. Have taken several emails, & phone calls to answer questions and they are both knowledgeable and happy to assist.
