Brushless Tug Motor

I’m using this motor in a Graupner Taucher Wulf. The boat is around 33 inches long and with ballast weighs around 14-15 pounds, maybe a bit more. The stock motor for this boat is a 550 brushed. I modified the kit motor mount to accept the Zippkits outrunner. It works like a champ! I’m getting several hours of runtime on a 2S 5200 lipo, the motor gets a little warm, just over ambient. It’s smooth and has plenty of power. Also, it slows down nicely, not quite as slow as a geared brushed motor, but very nice for an unsensored outrunner. Will be purchasing at least one more soon.
